Mafiatone was a sound system founded by the late Stafford Douglas in 1974 by 1975 the name was changed to Jah Mafiatone hi-fi were from this time to 1980 was rated and played amongst the greatest sounds of the day by 1976 saw the first of his record labels Mafiatone followed by the legendary label which was launched in 1979 it was also during this period that also ventured into music promotion bringing over the greatest artist of the day to perform in the UK as well as promoting the top sound systems of the times by 1985 Stafford Douglas launched the now generation label to promote upcoming talent in memory of the late Stafford Douglas aka Jah Mafiatone hi-fi the great.

Quantro sound system was started in Nottingham by two brothers Kenny and Lenny bedward and a few good friends Robert Cummings and Colin Raymond the sound system progressed very fast and quickly became Nottingham's original number,1 sound which travelled all over the UK playing music with all the top sounds of the 1970s and 1980s.quantro was known as the Midlands champion who entered competitions and took home first place cups. The sound is currently running today in Birmingham with the younger brother Keith and friend Everton who specialises in roots revival music and party events. available for bookings at any time.
Quantro Tone Sound: My brothers were playing music in Nottingham from 1968/to 69. Then as a youth sound called an iron city. Then in 1974, the name changed to Quattro sound system.
