Before Sheff G would become one of the biggest names in New York City’s hip-hop movement with hit songs like “We Getting Money” and the breakthrough “No Suburban”. Before Sheff G and his boy, Sleepy would team up with RCA to create the Winners Circle Imprint, releasing “Tip Toe” as one of their first tracks. None of us really know where our lives are gonna take us and Sheff G was no different. Growing up as a kid, the man who’s now at the center of the Brooklyn Drill scene never even thought he’d be a rapper, but these days he’s got over 10 million streams on Spotify off of his singles alone. Sheff G’s hip-hip journey really began in 2017 while just freestyling with his friends. One day they hit the studio and stumbled upon a fresh sound – the result was “No Suburban” a track that go so much play around Brooklyn that Sheff G was almost immediately getting recognized in the streets.
