Before Joji would find fame on YouTube as a number of different comedic characters including Filthy Frank, Chin Chin, and Pink Guy. Before Joji would reintroduce himself to the world as himself in 2014 and end his comedy career three years later in 2017. Before Joji would drop his highly-anticipated second studio album, “Nectar” with singles like “Daylight” featuring Diplo, “Gimme Love” and "Pretty Boy" featuring Lil Yachty. The artist is formerly known as Filthy Frank and nowadays better recognized as singer/songwriter, Joji, who hasn’t exactly had a career that you’d refer to as a straight trajectory. He started his career off as a gross-out comic portraying characters that were decidedly nothing like his real-life self on YouTube channels TVFilthyFrank and DizastaMusic. But Joji quickly grew tired of his comedic content and decided to make a career-change, focusing instead on making music, something that had always been a passion of his. In other words, the end of Filthy Frank’s career is a far cry away from the end of Joji’s – and now he’s finally creating the type of content that more fully articulates who he is as an artist... But hey -- that doesn’t mean that going back to take a look at his past will be any less fun.
