YouTube Wants Us to Light Up Our Shorts?!?! WUT?!?!

We are very blessed and lucky to be a part of the YouTube Shorts Creator community, organized by Alphabet and YouTube themselves. Thanks to them, I get to partake in some really cool stuff they put on and organize. One of the reasons I now upload a Short daily is they inspired me through one of their contests in 2022 to create, and the channel has definitely grown thanks to Shorts. But we got a fun box from YouTube that I wanted to share with all of you.

We received this from YouTube in January 2023, and this is super awesome. Inside the box was an LED Shorts Light to help celebrate the success we've had on the platform. The weighted base also features a touch-sensitive power switch that the light itself mounts to. When I first connected the light to the base, nothing happened. Then I tried a few more times. Still, nothing. Curious, I reached out to my channel manager for help. I guess there were a few of these that were slightly problematic, and they coordinated a replacement. Once it arrived, it lit right up.

The fact that YouTube has given channels such as this a chance to excel and grow. For a smaller channel like this, they don't owe us anything but they do give us a ton of support. Thank you to Team YouTube, the Shorts Creator Community, and everyone who helps support this channel. This truly means the world to us, and we could not do it without you.
