FUN FACT: Smaller denominations Zimbabwe's fiat paper currency cost more to produce than the face value of the bill. It was not uncommon for the people to take a portion of their paychecks and convert it into the smallest bills they could find, because it was cheaper to use the cash to get fires started than purchase fire starting supplies at the store.
