FAQ #5 Shooting steel targets

Is it safe? How far away do I need to be? What type of steel do you shoot? What happens to the bullet when it hits the steel? I get a lot of questions like this because I shoot steel targets in most of my videos. I am by no means a pro or an expert on steel but I do my best to answer some of these common questions I get on a regular basis.
