After Ellen DeGeneres would make headlines in Variety magazine due to her lack of communication with employees regarding their pay during the pandemic. After Ellen DeGeneres would get called out by Youtuber NikkieTutorials for not even saying Hi to her before their interview.
After Ellen DeGeneres would face serious backlash for referring to her time in quarantine to jail, even though she’s sitting in a nice 20 million dollar plus mansion. After an entire twitter thread with more than 2 thousand replies would go viral, simply asking for a mean story about Ellen, in exchange for a $2 donation to an LA food bank. It seems at one point Ellen DeGeneres was untouchable. Her entire brand was about being kind to one another, and spreading joy and love. Even if you’ve never seen her talk show, you’ve probably seen a clip or two of her dancing with the audience members, making jokes with her guests, or even scaring some of her crew members in the green room. But it turns out the real Ellen may not be the one that everyone has grown to love. Aside from the most recent accusations and negative headlines involving Ellen’s name, she also came under a lot of fire back in 2019 after she was seen laughing with former president George W Bush at a football game. It seems Ellen’s fall from grace has been a long time coming, and although it may have taken close to 40 years for people to finally start to see Ellen’s true colors, as they say, better late than never. And although Ellen and her team haven’t addressed the recent backlash she’s faced, it’s only a matter of time before they need to put a stop to all the bleeding. And lemme tell ya, it’s getting bloody.
