I love being a father, and one of the unexpected benefits of it is being forced to ask deeply about things. Like parliamentary systems.

Okay, maybe government theory isn't the normal topic of my Children Make You Think videos, but kid one is studying high school civics, and he was asking about the Dutch election which saw no clear, majority winner.

So, we got to talking about parliamentary systems, and majority vs minority vs coalition governments. First past the post vs proportional voting.
