My Rock of Help (Ebenezer)

In 1 Samuel 7 the priest and prophet Samuel named a memorial stone Ebenezer, meaning "rock of the help." It was meant to stand as a reminder of God's help for His people in time of need. Looking on the Ebenezer stone would remind them always of His past faithfulness, and build faith for the present and future.
