Prior to 2015...ESPN was one of very few major media outlets that was never forced into rounds of layoffs. Over the last few years...ESPN has went through numerous layoffs with another round expected in the next couple of months. While Stephen A Smith isn't expected to be affected...his future with ESPN remains in doubt.
