The passing of Pop Smoke was a monumental loss to the world of music and hip hop in particular. Loss of life has become all to frequent an occurrence and with many young established names leaving us far, far too early it's a hard pill to swallow when an up and comer showcasing tons of talent doesn't even get to reach the full height of his potential before his life is taken. His passing occurred in the Hollywood Hills during the early house of February 19th of this year. At the time of this recording law enforcement officials are still looking for witnesses to the crime and are continuing their investigation to land a motive. In the time since, fans have showcased endless support and tributes. His family have released a statement and his last few posts on social media have picked up major viewership.
