I don't watch major league sports anymore. Gambling, along with dumb, childish, unsportsmanlike and undignified displays, all done by obsessed, emotionally- and intellectually-stunted athletes. No thanks!

If I wanted to gamble, I'd go to a casino. I have no need to see wall-to-wall gambling commercials when watching sports. Nor, do I care that the announcers now know the odds of this or that outcome, given the circumstances.

And what's with all the really stupid, really cringe-inducing dances and obscure signals every time an athlete does something well on the field?!?

Lastly, it used to be that REAL people were the star athletes. Not anymore. They're like precision machines. Automata.

Major league sports are boring at best now, cringe-worthy and disheartening at worst. Yuck!
