James Comer: "No district attorney has the authority to prosecute federal election laws.Bragg he doesn't have the authority to decide whether or not he can come before Congress. When he decided to grossly overstep his authority by two levels of government, not just one, but two levels of government, then he entered the authority of the US house of Representatives Committee on Oversight.

Congress has the authority to conduct oversight where we have legislative purview. Federal election laws are written by Congress,not by the Manhattan District Attorney.So we absolutely have the authority to call in Mr.Bragg to find out why he's overstepping his authority by two entire levels of government."
