Bathroom Vanity Build with Secret Step Stool AND Solid Wood Counter!

Bathroom vanities are EXPENSIVE, they usually are not exactly what you need and they certainly don't have a hidden stool! Today we are doing a Bathroom Vanity Build that has a secret step stool built into the toe kick so the kids can easily step up and wash their hands in the bathroom!

Took building this vanity even further and used an epoxy coated solid wood top as the counter to try and save even more money as prefabbed counters are not cheap! This was a great project to show why building custom stuff is the way to go, was able to build this vanity around the existing plumbing in the bathroom and incorporate some really cool features like storage drawers, offset sink, soft close door hinges and best of all the secret stool that pulls out of the toe kick!

This vanity is made from a combo of plywood for the box and solid hickory wood for all the portions that you can see. The face frame, doors and drawer faces are all 3/4" and the solid hickory counter is about 1 1/2" thick.
