One Week Later: Will US Banks Go Bust?

Americans don't want the banking sector to go under. But there are many on Wall Street who can smell blood in the water, and see opportunities for real profit under any circumstances.

Normally, that would be fine. But are we seeing Washington DC make moves to benefit those people, at the expense of the American people? Will DC make it permanent that we privatize profit but socialize losses?

Are the banks in danger? Economist Dr. Matt Will from the University of Indianapolis says no, but that doesn't mean poorly managed banks won't be in real jeopardy.
