What is gaslighting?

The term "gaslighting" derives from the 1944 film "Gaslight." In the film the antagonist is regularly dimming the gaslights in his home, and when his wife asks why the lights are dim, he tells her that they are not dim. He is telling this lie, along with many others, in an attempt to convince his wife that she is crazy.

That is what the democrats are doing in America - they are dimming the lights, all the while telling us that the lights are not dim.
