Breaking IP News - Attorney Steve® copyright lawyer discusses a new strategy we are seeing Strike 3 Holdings take to seek to enforce its IP rights to its adult pornography movies, many in Tushy, Blacked, and Vixen categories.

Now, following the Cobbler Nevada case, they are trying to file BIll of Discovery (in Equity) in Florida County (not Federal) court seeking to unmask internet subscribers so that they can pursue settlements if warranted.

If you receive a notice of subpoena, you have only a limited time to review motion to quash options. Is this an abuse of process to sue in Florida when you know with "99% accuracy" that the alleged infringer is located in California, for example, where a second lawsuit (this time in Federal Court) would have to be filed? We will have to let this play out in the legal trenches, but for now, we will defend people accused of using BitTorrent protocol to download copyrighted movies.
