Journalist Protection Act sounds like free speech infringement

So what's new in Washington? The same old BS. Now, another assault on free speech. According to Lord Swawell (Democrat from California) attacking the press and causing "bodily injury" (which includes mental injury) can be grounds for criminal prosecution. Wow, just because the media is being called out for "fake news" and told to confirm their "sources" and if one reporter or journalist (whatever that definition really means) get their feelings hurt the perpetrator (i.e. the person exercising their free speech rights) could be put in jail? Are you kidding me? Is this what this country is coming to? It's all so hard to believe.

Congressmen should be focusing on the real issues that affect real people. They always seem to forget what their job function is. They work for the people.

At any rate, here is my analysis of the new proposed bill that doesn't have a chance in hell of being signed into law. Nothing but politics on capital hill. The people should demand more.
