Dromy v. Lukovsky California Civ. Code 1954 selling house with tenant

Can you hold an open house on Sunday when there is a tenant living on the property? This is an interesting real estate law case from the California Appeals Court, 2nd District, Los Angeles. This case discusses Section 1954 and how access to real estate to sell the property needs to be done during "normal business hours" which does NOT preclude showing the property on the weekends.

The Court discussed how the tenant should be given 10 days notice of intent to show the property on the weekend, and that tenant would need to respond to this request within 48 hours. This came as part of a complaint for declaratory relief under California Code of Civil Procedure Section 1060.
