Why did flight IU-737 not land immediately?! 🇮🇩

Why did Super Air Jet flight IU-737 not land at it's soonest convenience when the plane's air conditioning stopped working? Passengers had to endure an hour of extreme heat without any air flow before landing at the destination airport for this flight, over an hour away from it's first possible landing at Surabaya.

This incident took place on March 21, 2023.
