Pleasure Will Not Outweigh Pain

Life doesn't have to be a rat race between pain and pleasure. We can process and resolve our pain without inundating ourselves with pleasure, and we are obliged to find out how if we want to enter a stage of deeper well-being.

It is precisely when we cannot process our pain that we pleasure-seek the most. There is room for pleasure seeking this life. But we cannot allow it to remain/become our routine if we wish to journey to healing, development, self-actualization, and all of that psychological good stuff.
