The side kick is not a common attack, but can be one of the most surprisingly devastating strikes to get hit with. In this self defense lesson Tom Proctor shows you how to defend and counter a side kick. There are two basic counters to this, a catch and a parry. Tom Proctor shows you the proper way to catch a side kick strike and follow up with a few options to end the fight with you on top.
