•The DaamnTalk #RecoveryDiscovery blog is for Us addicts with co-occurring disorders & diseases! *@ 30 y/o, *nearly 2 decades ‘missed’-diagnosed, *13 page ‘criminal’ history report, *8 inpatient rehabs & *over a dozen jails- *totaling over 2 years of confinement… RECOVERY IS STILL POSSIBLE!!!!! Last year, after experiencing a seemingly random & utterly insane mental collapse of Our psyche, We were diagnosed with Schizo-E-disorder, a genetic mental-disability mimicking that of #Schizophrenia. The breakdown occurred just days after receiving an officer at Our door, with service of a perspective restraining order against ‘me’ & Our (then) 7-month old son, (via his mother).

Y’all have helped Us exponentially with opinions & advice *from experience. Our only son is almost #kindergarten age & we worry on the daily of his mother’s ways, from sexual assault allegations to intensive care hospital stays & attempted suicides - Muzik has been subjected to hell on account of Mandie Starets-Foote, his spiritually sick mother. By falsifying testimony & slandering the father, successfully keeping Muzik away from the entire paternal side of the family… despite the relationship they’ve fought for their only grandson. Quite simply, Our boy’s being used as a weapon; to satisfy putting her emotional needs above the needs of her own son.

We want to say thanks again to the members *& the admins who’re working hard to keep the page up & distinguish between ‘rubbish’ & ‘real’ (this is real, We promise!) We want to get the conversation going! ‘Where’ it happens isn’t ‘as’ important! We understand some of this groups members have made pages & share (*relevantly) from them directly on here, for Us! We believe it is by connecting, (open discourse / sharing resources), that we can organize, it is by organizing that we can strategize & it’s by strategizing we can collectivize ! (begin representing the best interests of our children!) *Real dialogue is the first step.
