Xi tells Putin ‘change coming that hasn’t happened in 100 years’

After an opulent state visit that underscored their “unrestricted friendship,” Xi Jinping bid farewell to the Kremlin, informing Vladimir Putin that “change is coming,” the Metro reported.

Shaking hands as the Chinese president left the imperial palace, Xi said via an interpreter: “Change is coming that hasn’t happened in 100 years. And we are driving this change together.”

Putin replied: “I agree,”

Following a seven-course private dinner with Xi Jinping that lasted over four hours the previous evening, Vladimir Putin welcomed the Chinese leader for discussions that included high-ranking officials from both nations.
