Modify and Refinish Kitchen Cabinets with Chalk Paint

Today we refinish our kitchen cabinets for cheap! We re-configure our existing cabinet doors to remove some of the unnecessary parts that made the cabinets look busy and constricting. We also replace the thin door panel with some 1/2" oak plywood to give the door some strength and weight. Once the cabinets are rebuilt we finish them with homemade chalk paint and add new satin-nickel hardware.
