Cheeky L85 Brits Bullpup goes from rubbish to ace

I have a ton of respect for our mates across the pond, the British Armed forces who use the SA80 or L85 main battle rifle. For the last four decades the UK infantry used a bullpup design.

I know there is a lot of distrust out there within the military weapons community when it comes to the bullpup design compared to conventional firearms. My guess is, a lot of that actually comes directly from British soldiers, not so great experience on the ground with this rifle. I want to get to the bottom of if the incredible amount of hate for this weapon is justified or not. In order to do that we’ll have to get into British Army doctrine with the bullpup rifle.
