Fr. Capoverdi Gives Post Forum Comments And Thoughts Affecting Today's Youth And The Church

Fr. Capoverdi gave supportive comments following a Rhode Island Family Institute forum with guest speakers Dr. Michelle Cretella and Bob Chiaradio.

He gives some excellent examples of the challenges that today’s church faces with odds against some sports programs that require Sunday participation along with multiple daily practices.

Family participation in church services are diminishing throughout the state where priorities of daily life are replacing the practice of the Catholic faith. He fears that coming generations will no longer have memories of attending church, experiencing Mass and the thoughtful daily prayer.
