FN-SCAR vs the M-16: Is it worth it?

The SCAR rifle is loved by Special Ops. But it’s still not going to replace the M4 for everyone.

Is the FN-SCAR an overly expensive fancy Special Forces Operator's only replacement for the M4? The weapon can be chambered in the 7.62 Scar Heavy version or the SCAR Light 5.56.
US Navy SEALs and Army Green Berets are the most likely of forces to be carrying this weapon. The Rangers elements were using them until they decided it wasn't for them.
