This is a tutorial on how to apply for PLDT rebate

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary documents and numbers
Ticket number
Account number
Billing statement
Invoice number/SOA Number
Service ID number
Phone number
Email address

Ticket number:
This is the number given to you when you call PLDT 177 for repair. This is use to trace what happen to your repair. If you forgotten about this number just call PLDT 177 for the ticket number usually it is a 8 digit

Account number:
The Account number can be found at your Billing statement. The number is located at upper right corner of you Billing statement.
If you forgotten about this number just call PLDT 177 for the Account number.

Invoice number/Soa number:

You can only obtain this number by calling PLDT 177 and asking for it. The help guide in the PLDT SME page is wrong.

Service ID number:

Again Call PLDT 177 for this number since it is not reflected at the Billing statement

Billing statement(s)

Obviously we need this because of the date of billing that the interruption occurred. Rebate can span from multiple billing since there is no time and date for PLDT repair.

Go to PLDT SME Nation website. Links are at the description

Click Customer Support

A new Page will appear

Step 4

Choose Log a Concern

Step 5

Choose Billing concern

Step 6

At Category choose Bill dispute

Step 7

Input all necessary information and click submit

If all things are done correctly you’ll see the credit (cr) at your billing statement after 3 months. The amount will be deducted to your current bill

Up to
A lot of time when you ask a PLDT Operator/technician why your mbps doesn’t reach its actual speed (Example you avail 5mbps and it only reaches 4.8). They will tell you its up to 5 mbps . Don’t just agree to this tell them in order for PLDT to advertise upto 5mbps it needs to reach 5mbps at least once. Remember we avail upto 5mbps not 4.8. It may not reach 5 mbps all the time but at least it reaches 5 mbps from time to time.

Burst speed
Is a strategy employ by PLDT giving the illusion we are reaching the target speed. It is just busting or giving us a minor speed up in intervally.
