Cherokee Therapy 21: Replace Timing Chain, Crank Seal, Harmonic Balancer, and Alternator (Part 2)

Last of a 2 part series: installing timing chain, sprockets, alternator and harmonic balancer. My XJ (4.0L, 4WD) had the original OEM timing chain in came with when it rolled off the assembly line in 2000. It wasn't showing any sign of problems, but I needed to replace my alternator + harmonic balancer and my front crank case seal was leaking so... I'm a BIG fan of replacing whatever you can if you have to take apart the front of the engine anyway for other jobs like seals/gaskets.
