Waves +Waves 2 ( Free Forever)

Waves and Waves 2: Notorious are both arcade twin-stick shooters set in Cyberspace. They were developed by a solo developer named Rob Hale under the name Squid In A Box12. Waves was released in 2011 and Waves 2: Notorious was launched in early access in 2015. Both games feature various game modes, leaderboards, customizable player builds and an AI that adapts to your weaknesses.

Unfortunately, Rob Hale passed away in August 2022 after a battle with cancer. As his dying wish, he made both games free to keep for everyone. Many players have paid their respects and gratitude to him in the Steam reviews.
