Humility, Biblical Counseling

"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up" James 4:10. The Lord wants us to make the effort, to choose to be loving and caring and not proud...and then He wants to reward us. "For whoever exalts himself will be abased, and he who humbles himself will be exalted" Luke 14:11. God is going to make the humble look good. As for the arrogant - "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" Proverbs 16:18.
