Why Are These Ukrainian APCs Having a Dance Party?

This Ukrainian unit was using their APCs in a very uncommon way. I believe that the APCs were coming right up to the enemy's maximum effective range for anti-tank rocket fire, firing their machine guns to suppress, and then retreating while other APCs and fired. When they finished their belts, the APCs that had just reloaded advanced again to take their place.

This is not a common strategy.
