Amazing Invention- This Drone Will Change Everything

Imagine a drone system capable of delivering a package from the sky directly to your backyard with dinner plate accuracy in as little as two minutes. Drone delivery would be fully electric, fully autonomous, and cost pennies worth of energy per delivery. With Zipline, it's possible because the drone that lowers the package has the ability to move laterally in any direction, making a dartboard-sized precision landing even in high winds.Drone flights begin with an order coming in, say, for an emergency supply of blood from a hospital. Once it's packed up, it's placed in the belly of the drone. A catapult launcher takes the drone from zero to 65 miles an hour in a third of a second, which is literally less time than it takes you to blink. The drone then navigates its way to the hospital, and upon arriving, opens the trap door to drop the package, which lands safely using a parachute. The story of Abdul inspires. He was orphaned as a child when he lost both of his parents and all three of his siblings in the Rwandan genocide, narrowly escaping himself. But he didn't give up on his passion for engineering. Abdul was the very first Zipline employee in Rwanda and helped pioneer many of the systems that are now used all over the world. He wanted to see if the system was robust enough that even a total noob like him could send out an order.
Zipline Launch Sites and Global OperationsZipline operates in various countries globally, and they have two launch sites in Rwanda that provide coverage for all regions in the country. They currently serve 3,000 hospitals, and this number is expected to rise to ten thousand by the end of the year.Rwanda's Leap into New Technologies and Economic GrowthAfter the Rwanda genocide, the country united to foster healing and solidarity instead of divisive ethnic groups. Over the last decade, Rwanda has been advancing to new technologies such as drone delivery. Their economy has grown four times faster than the US, and their violent crime rate is 15 times less than that of the US.Unforgettable Moments: Hiking to See Mountain Gorillas Up Close. The most mesmerizing part of the trip was witnessing a whole family of mountain gorillas up close in the wild, which was both adorable and terrifying.Cracking the Code of Airborne Zipline:Airborne's drones are designed to be as quiet as possible to break the code of airborne zipline. CEO Keller believes that the best engineers have a significant level of humility since testing and breaking things are the best ways to learn. Keller founded Crunch Labs, a toy company that teaches children to think like engineers with an express school.
Zipline drones have been operating for six years with zero incidents that have caused any injuries. In fact, for the half a million flights they've had, there have been exactly zero incidents caused by the drone's design, making it incredibly safe. The back propeller is responsible for propelling the drone forward as it moves across town, but then it turns down 90 degrees to help steer and create extra lift while it's stationary and dropping down cargo. The drone can carry up to eight pounds and can easily be dropped off safely, making it an ideal candidate for delivering packages to your back porch by the end of this year. Customers, such as Sweet Green, will start using this technology to deliver salads straight to your backyard. This is made possible because of the super power of engineering that willed something into existence, saving lives along the way, such as Abdul's story. Those interested in thinking like an engineer can join Crunch Labs. It is a platform designed to help you think critically and break down problems into manageable steps. Each month, you'll receive a fun toy to build alongside with a video tutorial that teaches you the physics behind how it works.
