Gary Vollard is a marketing executive, and every year he accompanies his father Peter on a biking excursion in Aspen. However, this year Gary is unable to join his father due to work obligations

Gary's friends are in Aspen with Peter, and he decides to take a different route than Gary's friends, and they plan to meet up later at a local bar.

Peter crashes, seriously injuring himself. At that exact moment, a hanging display-bike falls in Gary's store.

Peter is at risk of hypothermia, with his left leg shattered, he is unable to move . At the store, the display waterfall suddenly stops and Gary senses something is wrong with his father, he asks his assistant to book him a flight to Aspen right away.

Gary appears to his friend at the bar and tells him his father is in trouble and to organize a search party immediately.

The phone rings with Peter on the line, he thanks his son for coming to Aspen to organize his rescue. A confused Gary tells his father that he was unable to charter a flight due to bad weather and is not in Aspen.
