1 shallot
1 large onion
5 medium carrots
4 celery stalks
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp rosemary
1 tsp salt
1/2 tbs ground pepper
6 cups chicken stock, broth, or bullion
1/2 cup chopped spinach
abt 6 cups cooked rice
