Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the concept that if we owe certain segments of our population reparations in order to "right the wrongs of the past" then perhaps we need to start applying that logic across the board to all segments of our population that have been deprived of their Constitutional Rights under the color of State law. As you may be aware, the City of San Francisco is debating a plan to give each African American resident of their city a $5 million lump sum payment plus guaranteed personal income for the rest of their life. Well, if this is what's necessary to right the wrongs of the past, then we need to start applying that logic across the board.
