Here is the Deep Pink Cherry Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. The tomato originates from our gardens in the USA. This pink variety appeared in our garden as a volunteer in 2018. We are not sure of where it came from or if it's some kind of hybrid. It is a cherry tomato that has a deep pink skin with a pink flesh inside getting to about 1.25 inches round and weighting around 1 oz. The thing about this variety is the pink skin color has this strange "pool ball" appearance to it and is solid in color! Plants can get to 5.5 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to get to 4 feet tall. The fully ripened fruits will have a deep rich solid color to them but sometimes are bi-colored. Great tasting tomatoes for salads, eating fresh and for tomato sauce and paste! Open pollinated indeterminate regular leaf mid season 65 to 80 days. Visit HRSeeds.com for your garden seeds!

The plants typically grow to 1–3 meters (3–10 ft) in height and have a weak stem that often sprawls over the ground and vines over other plants.
