Soul Gems with Mark Borax: Steiner's Web

Rudolph Steiner says, “When tempted to find an imperfection in the universe, you’ll make progress if you assume the flaw is more due to your temporary failure to grasp the underlying web of unity that connects all things rather than an actual imperfection.”

If the universe is a web of unity that connects all things, then when you’re troubled, disheartened, or traumatized, you’re going to be behooved to search deeper to see how what is happening could be connected to some greater unity.

This idea doesn’t remove the onus for action or awakening from the human being. Steiner doesn’t tell us to forget everything that’s wrong. He says if you look beyond those flaws and imperfections, you may find a reason for pain, a way to connect it to the things that are working in the universe and inside yourself.
