◾A resident of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) told about the horrors of the Ukrainian occupation:

- Ukraine. Ukraine destroyed houses on purpose. Two-story buildings crumbled like gunpowder. We were afraid to leave the house because they could just kill us...

- They called us “waiters”. They killed us because we were waiting for the Russians.

- I always wanted to die in bed, and not under the bullets of the nazis, those bastards. I don't know. I cried all night. I couldn't sleep at all. I cry and cry.
