Fauci: “Lesson 9. Well, do I know about this? Misinformation is truly the enemy of pandemic control. And unfortunately, I think we all know, I don’t have to tell this audience this, is that we are living in an absolute sea of misinformation and disinformation that is propagated very effectively by social media. And I’m not so sure how we’re going to get around that, but it can be causing lives. Misinformation and disinformation, costs lives. There’s no doubt about that. And the misinformation and disinformation that has people not wanting to get vaccinated costs lives.”
