The question of voting "rights" has become a trigger for a lot of people in America these days. The Voting Rights Act [VRA] of 1965 has been the trophy of the Civil Rights Movement while seemingly never asking what has been the true benefit of the VRA of 1965? And why is the importance of the VRA of 1866 been memoryholed?
