Did We Just Purchase the WORST N64 Game of All Time? #Shorts

In this #YouTube #Shorts episode, we share our recent pickups, and one is notorious for being terrible.

While cleaning and organizing my game room,I decided to take and trade in several items I had multiples of to the local retro game store. since I buy there frequently, I opted for store credit and picked up several games and another Ultra 4K movie. One game jumped out at me from the showcase, with visions of the Angry Video Game Nerd bouncing through my head. But let's start with the good.

Gremlins 35th Anniversary Ultra 4k Blu-ray:
I still remember going with my parents to the Mill Road 6 theater and seeing Gremlins. My mother was horrified, she thought it was going to be a cute Christmas movie. WRONG! I've always loved this move but never owned it - until now.

Urban Champion for the NES:
Some love this game, some think it's terrible. I'm somewhere in the middle, as it's one of the first real fighting games. Urban Champion is definitely iconic, and I needed it in the collection.

Legend of Zelda Promotional GameCube Disc:
Now, this was something I did own back in the day and loved! This disc includes 4 Zelda games, both Zelda 1 & 2 from the NES, Majora's Mask & Ocarina of Time for the N64. There's even a WindWaker demo, although Link to the Past is strangely missing. This was an exceptional find, and it's COMPLETE!

But theses are all good items, where's the bad you might be asking? Well, as I was looking around it caught my eye. one of the worst games, supposedly, on any system. I'm taking about the N64 version of Superman!

Superman 64 is known for having terrible controls, glitches and bugs, and being generally broken. It's hard to believe something this bad got Nintendo's Seal of Approval! The N64 is known for some pretty bad games (Earthworm Jim 64 anyone?) but Superman 64 is commonly thought of as the WORST. Is it though?

Too be honest, I don't know how bad it is because I've actually never played it! I never owned it back in the N64's hayday, and I've not had a chance to get it at a good price control now. I'm going to try it with an open mind, however, I'd be lying if I wasn't expecting the worst. Like worse than Bubsy 64. Worse than Cybermorph. Worse than ET. And most definitely worse than one of the most overrated games ever, Breath of the Wild.
