Can We Beat It? Star Fox on Super NES Classic with the Yok Wireles Turbo Controller
In this video fly along as our co-pilot as we, after 20 years, try to finally beat the original Star Fox on the Super Nintendo Classic with the Yok Wireless Gamepad.
You know how it goes, you sit down to relax after a long day to play some games. But then one level turns into one more, then just one more until finally you're on the final level. That's where we were with Star Fox on 10/23/17.
I had decided to chill out with some Star Fox and do some more testing with the Yok Wireless Turbo Controller for the SNES Classic and a mod I had recently done to the hardware to verify it worked as desired before filming my tutorial. Before I knew it I had progressed to the final level and had Andross right in my targeting scanner. I had also not died, had a fully powered up Arwing and was having the game of Star Fox of my life. I had never gotten this far in the game so I thought it was only right to share my experiences.
I tried multiple times to grab defeat from the jaws of victory, had multiple close calls and a few instances I still can't believe I got through. I hope you enjoy the playthru.
