Phone Skope Universal Phone Mount Review

The universal phone mount by Phone Skope is a great device to allow you to capture picture or videos on your phone or GoPro through your binoculars, spotting scope, telescope, and other such optics.

The universal mount adjusts up and down and side to side to allow you to orient it perfectly to line up with your phone's camera lens.

The yellow part of the mount is made of a durable plastic. The clamp that clamps onto your phone is made of metal and is spring-loaded to secure the device in place.

I used this mount in combination with the optic mount for my Vortex Diamondback 10x42's and they worked great. The optic mount is a great addition to use my binos. I also have the universal optic mount which works pretty well.

Overall I really like the universal phone mount. I think it's a great tool to have if you want to capture footage and tend to change phones somewhat often.

If you are going to use a dedicated device (like your old cell phone you plan to keep) then the dedicated mounts may be better, but either will work.
