Beaxy trading was fined just $79,000 by the SEC for making $8 million in questionable activities

The SEC fines are not a deterrent If you can make $8,000,000 and the fine is less than 1% of the proceeds and you don’t go to jail or plead guilty why would you stop the questionable activities?
