Vincent D'Onofrio Wants to Fight Spider man

Vincent D'Onofrio, Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin), wants to fight Spider-man, and believes he will defeat him, but I'm not sure. Is this the same Spider-man that fought Thanos and his legions. I just don't see unpowered Kingpin defeating Spider-man, who has Stark Tech, and has defeated a wide range of villains in his last outing.
