29-2 - SCARLET FEATHER, JOAN GRANT, A FAR MEMORY BOOK - THE BITTER MOUNTAINS PART 2

Joan Grant was born in England in 1907, her father was a man of such intellectual brilliance in the field of mathematics and engineering that he was appointed a fellow at Kings College whilst still in his 20ies.
Joan was largely home educated and she felt that as a child, she learned more at the after dinner conversations between her father and his fellow scientists then from her Governesses or traditional schooling.
Joan was a seer - she was able to remember much of her many lives and here she is describing her journey as Piyanah with her cousin Raki who was the son of her mothers sister and no one knew who his father was..
Piyanah learns in the first chapter that her father is the Chief of a native American tribe . Joan was already a well known writer in the 40ies, admired for her historical accuracy - but then it was not mentioned that these books are her own far memories. She passed in 1989 i read most of them years ago and i enjoy them again.
Here we go on to the story of Piyanah and Raki adopted son of her sister and we learn about the 'Before people' to be seen at full moon shining on the pond in a secret place..

We are in another story now....funny enough there are parallels... as far as i can see anyway but then...each has their own thoughts about these times..

Piyanah and Raki have already fought successfully in a battle with the Black Feathers and Piyanah trained as a Brave. They are are now travelling with Na-Ka-Chek's Tribe of the Two Trees, he is Pyianah's father , to the meeting of the 30 Tribes. They meet every 7 years. Piyannah has gone through the caves but found her opponent fatally injured - she brings him back to the encampment of the Yellow Skins. They had the gathering of the tribe, getting ready to move south to start their own tribe - Na-Ka-Check made his speech and they are now off on their long journey, taking a group of other adventurers with them to find the place they want to settle - in the South where it is warmer and life is less arduous. ..but not before tragically there is a death...and great joy...all in less than 10 minutes...

It is Thursday ..Equinox 2023 passed ..spring CLOCKS CHANGED :) ...and Easter is approaching with a long weekend and childrens holdiays.
