Console Transfer Portal REOPENS APRIL 3 // Elite Dangerous

The console transfer portal for Elite Dangerous Commanders will open on APRIL 3rd 2023. This allows players on console to clone their save files for playing on PC. Full details of how to begin the process and what is included in the transfer can be found in this post.

How to Begin the Process

To begin the process, you will need to create a new PC account and then go to the Frontier Developments website and sign in with your new account. Once you are logged in, you will need to click on the "Elite Dangerous" tab and then click on the "Transfer Commander" button.

What is Included in the Transfer

The transfer process will copy your save files, including your Commander's progress, ships, and equipment. It will also copy your settings and preferences.

The Transfer Process

The transfer process can take a few hours, so be patient. Once the transfer is complete, you will be able to log in to the game on PC and continue your progress.
