Enjoy this compilation of baby monkeys playing, climbing and swimming. Monkeys are incredibly intelligent, social mammals that enjoy climbing. They also like clinging onto their mums when they're young.

Monkey facts:
- There are currently 264 known monkey species.
- Apes are not monkeys.
- Some monkeys live on the ground, while others live in trees.
- Different monkey species eat a variety of foods, such as fruit, insects, flowers, leaves and reptiles.
- Most monkeys have tails.
- Groups of monkeys are known as a ‘tribe’, ‘troop’ or ‘mission’.

There are many primates that face extinction or are currently endangered. If you would like to help combat this, you can help by boycotting products that include palm oil as this is destroying the habitats of lots of wildlife including some primates.
